Please note: in the state of Texas, a referral from a veterinarian is required (via our referral form) before treatment. We work with your veterinarian as needed!

After thorough examination, LWA offers state of the art techniques, tools, and training including chiropractic adjustments, PBM laser, RockTape, and myofascial release. Reassessment at each appointment occurs to evaluate response to treatment. For any other services, Dr. Randermann will refer you back to your veterinarian.

Benefits

1. Pain Relief

  • Chiropractic adjustments can help relieve pain, especially in cases of musculoskeletal issues, like arthritis, hip dysplasia, or muscle strains.

2. Improved Mobility

  • Spinal and joint restrictions can affect an animal’s ability to move freely. Chiropractic care can enhance mobility by restoring proper motion and reducing muscular tension.

3. Enhanced Flexibility

  • It can help improve an animal’s range of motion, which is particularly important for pets that may be recovering from an injury or surgery, or for competition animals that require peak performance.

4. Reduced Tension and Stress

  • Adjustments may help relieve tension in muscles and joints, contributing to a calmer, more relaxed animal. This is particularly helpful for show animals that need to be at their best during competitions.

5. Improved Nervous System Function

  • Through chiropractic adjustments, animal chiropractors help improve the nervous system’s function, allowing for better communication between the brain and body. This can support performance in competitive environments.

6. Support for Recovery from Injury

  • Chiropractic care can accelerate healing by improving circulation, reducing inflammation, and promoting tissue repair after an injury, which is important for both show animals and those involved in intense physical activities.

7. Overall Wellness and Preventative Care

  • Regular chiropractic visits can keep animals in good health by preventing potential problems before they become serious issues. This is especially valuable for active competition animals that need to stay in peak physical condition.

8. Behavioral Improvements

  • In some cases, issues like aggression or anxiety may be linked to physical discomfort or pain. Chiropractic care may improve behavior by addressing underlying physical issues that contribute to discomfort, which can be important for the calm demeanor needed in show animals.

9. Support for Older Animals

  • Older pets, especially those with age-related conditions like arthritis or mobility problems, can benefit greatly from chiropractic care to enhance comfort and quality of life, especially for older competition animals that still need to perform at high levels.

10. Competitive Edge for Show Animals

  • For animals in competitive environments, such as agility trials, dog shows, or equestrian competitions, chiropractic care can improve muscle performance, coordination, and overall physical well-being, helping them perform their best. Proper alignment and mobility can contribute to better movement, stamina, and focus during events.
